Established in 1993 in San Diego, California as a non-profit organization and an affiliate member of the Southern California Golf Association. The fabric of our organization is made of dedicated men and women who are not only in the pursuit of happiness and an excellent game of golf but also the desire to organize, compete, enjoy the sport of golf, foster honesty, integrity, harmony, parity, camaraderie, respect and true sportsmanship.
Through the years, the Parshooters Golf Club of San Diego has donated to the Filipino Senior Citizens Clubs of San Diego, The Bantay Bata Organization that assist homeless children in the Philippines, the victims of Typhoon Ondoy and Typhoon Sendong. They also donated to the Fisherhouse of San Diego, a facility that housed families of wounded service men and women while they are being treated at the Balboa Naval Hospital.
Due to their active role and charitable contributions to such cause and organizations, they were recognized by the National Federation of Filipino American Associations, United States Congressman Bob Filner, Assemblyman Marty Block of San Diego and Mayor Ron Morrison of National City, for their contributions to the local community.
The Parshooter's Fil-AmTour adapted the very basic principles of theProfessional GolfAssociation of America, its core values, ideas, integrity, charity programs and made them the foundation and the guiding tools of the organization. The Parshooter's golf tournaments every Tuesdays and Thursdays made the members not only a better golfers but an active contributors and donors to charity to the local and world organizations.
