Mission is accomplished, serving Ifugao and Albay the Bicol regions in December 2024 and January 2025. Water Ministry Tradition Fundraising at Pradera GC was very successful seeing our members enjoying the Pacific Tour.
We continued serving Vintar Ilocos Norte with Ted Calaustro which we started serving the school districts which we have installed our 28th schools since we started in 2016. In addition this year we served the Philippine Army with 500 soldiers drinking from a spring source without filters. Now they are now safe from waterbourne disease.
Our work continued in Benguet where I was raised and grew up as a child that back in the days the water was contaminated. Growing up I never new anything about waterbourne disease. most of the time I miss school because of my illness. We visited the schools of Tuba, Bukod, Itogon and Tublay where we have installed more filters for the school children.
I have met with the Vice Governor of Benguet and our plan is to install to 360 Elementary Schools throughout Benguet. We signed a MOA Memorundom of Agreement to insure the safety and maintenance of the filters for longivity. I have pledge 180 schools for this year which i have the filters in my inventory in stock. it will probably a 3 year project since some Municipalities are hard to reach. Good thing they will provide transportation to reach those places.
With God's grace we are healthy, had a few colds here and there due to change of weather but nothing serious. Thank you for all your support and prayers. We are looking forward to our next mission in the future.
Status Report From Robert Aragon on 12/29/24
We finally arrived in Lamut Central Elementary School where the LB Charitable Foundation went to school back in the days. We were met by the the DePEd and PTA along with the 3 K cares Foundation of Ifugao. We dicussed on how we can solve the water crisis at the school with over a thousand students. This is one of the schools that I visited last year but the water source did not pass testing for potable drinking water because it was not properly drilled. We finally agreed to drill a new well for the school.
January 3, 2025, I will be travelling to Albay to continue our work with DMPF and the Philippine Navy NAVCOM and install water filters at the areas affected by the recent typhoons. I will be heading to Negros Occidental to install filters at the evacuation centers at recent Kanlaon Volcano eruption.
Our mission in Albay was very successful with a lot of volunteers involved, thanks to the Dios Mabalos Foundation of Daraga Albay for their continued support to our work in the Bicol Regions. We visited Lupi, Cam Sur and installed water filters to mostly the poor Barangay areas of the Municipality. We were welcomed by the Mayor of Lupi with overwhelming hospitality showed by the Mayor and LGU's.
We got back to Daraga serving in Legaspi where most floodings occur during the recent typhoons that swept through the Bicol Regions. We traveled south through Sorsogon installing filters to the elementary schools and rehabilitation centers managed by the Catholc Nuns of Daraga.
Finally we went back to Lagonoy Cam Sur to visit the filters we installed last year with Bobby Garcia and DMPF. all 10 barangays are still using the filters consistently serving at least 500 families. An excellent report by the nuns that less waterbourne desease affecting the communities since we installed the filters. We added another 7 units this time areas affected by floodings.
I'm back here in Lamut Ifugao to meet with the well drillers, our plans with LBCharitable Foundation to provide wells at mostly schools that did not pass our tests for potable water. Our partnership with 3 K cares Foundation has offered a state of the art drilling machine for us to use for free. God's connection from people that believed our vision to provide safe clean drinking water to the needy specially the children and elderly.
And to all of you who supported our cause thank you and God's speed.
